Our Wines

Gamay (2019)

The cousin of the heartbreak grape that is much more forgiving. Our Garagiste Beaujolais inspired Gamay is light bodied and tickles the palate with its vibrant, un-adulturated youth. Notes of young barely ripe cherries, fig and soft fresh mint. Chill this wine down and guzzle it back. From a little vineyard on the Golden Mile Bench. Fermented in Stainless Steel, but aged in neutral barrels for 12 months.

'Cuvee Garagiste' Red

Our first Batch of Cuvee Garagiste Red is sure to peak your interest. We got our hands on some amazingly delicious Pinotage (70%) and blended in some of our tried and true Gamay (30%). The result is one hell of an earthy wine! The nose is brambly and woodsy which carries through to the medium palate weight. The tannins are fine and chewy, lingering at the back of your tongue. South Africa meets France meets North Vancouver!

Bottled October 7th, 2020.

'Cuvee Garagiste' White

Our first Batch of Cuvee Garagiste White is aptly a Bordeaux-styled blend of Sauvignon Blanc (90%) and Semillon (10%). Pale straw colour and loaded with citrus on the nose, this blend is truly and crowd pleaser. Finishing with racy acidity, Batch #1 just begs for some Oysters! From a single vineyard (field blend) on the Black Sage Bench. Sauvignon Blanc was 100% Stainless fermented, and Semillon was neutral barrel fermented.

Kerner (2019)

A "should be" iconic hybrid grape of Trolinger and Riesling parentage - it's so damn aromatic! Floral, fruit salad of bright green apples and pears. This wine dances on your tongue with electric acidity and bone dry, fresh palate. Pair with whatever you’re eating or doing. Grown on a little farm in the Shuswap Lake area. Fermented in Stainless Steel, and bottled young. A racy 9.08g/L of Tartaric Acidity.

Viognier (2019)

A different kind of Viognier. Showing stunning pink in the glass, this wine opens up with notes of honeysuckle, white peach, preserved lemon. 15% Gamay addition brings in subtle structure and mind blowing colour. Rhone traditionalists are rolling over in their graves, but we don’t care, and doubt you will either after crushing this beauty. This fruit was picked from a vineyard on the sandy slopes of the Black Sage Bench.
